Had a wonderful time this past weekend at my friend Sarah's baby shower which was conveniently located within walking distance from my apartment. Literally 10 buildings away! Who knew that right around the corner awaited a thoughtful, vintage inspired experience for the awaited Baby Boy Linker (possibly a.k.a. Abraham from Sarah's love of the Abraham from the Bible). It was my first time at an outdoor shower and luckily June gloom was not invited nor did crash the party.
Everything played out perfectly from the sweet vintage details, to Sarah crying at the surprise note from her husband (who is currently deployed), to the gifts and the games, making onesies - all finished off with homemade ice cream. Our host for the day Jerri Ann did a wonderful job! Also, I found out that she's got a cool blog of her own called The Ezer Wife which entails all things cooking, crafts, and living a God-centered life. Amen sister! Thank you for the lovely time!
